Cherry Blossom is a 90 x 200cm bamboo Door Curtain. It evokes the sensual delights of a Japanese spring.
About the Cherry Blossom
Cherry blossoms can be found across the globe, but are most suggestive of Japan. According to Wikipedia, they are widely distributed, especially in the temperate zone of the Northern hemisphere, including Japan, Taiwan, Korea, Mainland China, Nepal, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Myanmar, Thailand and West Siberia. Along with the chrysanthemum, the cherry blossom is considered the national flower of Japan.
A cherry blossom is a flower of many trees of genus Prunus. The most well-known species is the Japanese cherry, which is commonly called sakura.
All varieties of cherry blossom trees produce small, unpalatable fruit or edible cherries. Edible cherries generally come from cultivars of the related species Prunus avium and Prunus cerasus.
Features of Our Beaded Door Curtains
Another feature of our door curtains is that each one is unique, having been hand-painted in Vietnam. And they come in an assortment of designs and styles ranging from plain coloured or natural through to images depicting spiritual, floral and beachside living themes.
As well, they are as practical as they are attractive. Because beaded door curtains provide screening without obstructing the natural movement of air. And they act as a deterrent to flying insects.
Beaded Door Curtains are not just for doorways. They can also be used in other creative ways;
- for example, as a room partition: screen an unsightly laundry area, or a workspace, separate a dining and living area
- or even as a wall feature.
Another plus is that our beaded door curtains are easy to hang – they come with their own hanging furniture. Simply use the two hooks in the top bar to suspend the door curtain over a door way, from the ceiling, or on a wall.
